Maths DLO!

Today for maths we had a new group task. Today we were given a worksheet,  where we would had to work out using the two options which one would earn her more money. The two options were earn $5 a week for a year (excluding 4 weeks). Or each week she could role a dice and the corresponding amount of money would be depending on what she rolled. We used google slides to document the key of dice as each number equalled different amounts of money. We found the average amount she would earn by taking turns rolling a dice 52 times. The two totals were very similar with option one getting $240 or option 2 getting $247.
To answer her questions based of out data rolling the dice and random every week is the better solution.

  1. Great explanation of your task Ruby, well done!

I wonder, what were your thoughts on how your group worked together. Would you do anything different next time?
