This week for writing we have been focusing on Persuasive Writing in preparation for an upcoming writing assessment. This time our objective was persuading whether we believe blogging improves our learning or not. I have enjoyed working on persuasive writing as it may be important further during school.

Does Blogging Improve Your Learning?
Blogging is a commonly used digital platform across many schools. Many kids don’t enjoy blogging however I believe it is beneficial. I think it is beneficial because if children are sharing their work to there blog audience often other children and teachers comment feedback. Feedback can be very helpful if you work upon it, It can help you make small changes that might have a huge impact on your work. It is also helpful to make progress and get another person’s opinion on your work.
Blogging is often a great opportunity for some kids to share their work with other people in there family if they don’t see them often. Also if people are receiving positive comments it could possibly make some happy. Which could have a positive influence towards them wanting to share there work on their blogs. When we share work on our
blogs other students will comment on each others blogs which gives people a chance to comment on people’s blogs that they don’t frequently talk to.
When we are sharing our work on our blogs it can create a sense of pride over your work. Knowing that you need to share your work on your blog can sometimes be motivational to complete your work to a high standard and keep it interesting. Overall I believe blogging is a very beneficial platforms for many reasons.
