Equivalent Fractions

For todays maths session my maths group, Orange learnt about equivalent fractions. Donald and Ronald are twins and it is their birthday. They got identical cakes. Donald cut his cake into 1/4 and Ronald cut his into 1/5. Donald ate 3/4 of his cake and Donald ate 4/5 of his cake. Who has eaten the most cake? If you put a quarter and a fifth next to each other 1/4 is bigger. I cut their cakes and took away the pieces they ate. Donald ate more of his cake as he was left with                   a smaller amount. Ronald had more cake left as he did not eat as much.
