This term in English we are doing a novel study on Percy Jackson. To have a greater
understanding we have been researching Greek Mythology. Our task was to research
and blog about a Greek God of our choice. I researched Poseidon
- Poseidon was the god of the sea, earthquakes and horses
- Poseidon was the second born child of Cronus & Rhea. He was swallowed at birth by cronus but later saved alongside his other brothers & sisters by Zeus
- Poseidon & Medusa conceived the mythological creature, Pegasus, The Flying Horse
- His wife was Amphitrite, Together they had a son named Triton, a merman.
- Zeus, Hades & Poseidon battled with the titans. They won and took over the world
