Robotic Fish

This week for reading we are reading an article "Fishy Looking Robot SoFi is Helping Scientists Spy on Life Under the Sea". This article is informing us about a new scientific discovery in creating a robotic fish. The fish was developed at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Our task was to read the article and complete a follow up worksheet that had been shared with us. The Worksheet was similar to the tasks from last week. The purpose of this post is to include 3 new ideas I learnt from the article.

3 Things I Learnt
- Our technology has increased so much throughout the years and it is incredible that we can now develop a robotic fish that could help us learn more about the ocean and its hidden creatures
- SoFi is partly 3D printed and weighs only 3.5 kilos similar to the average weight of a small fish
- I learnt we can use signals to monitor and explore from the robots perspective up to 50ft away from the control

I hope we can develop the technology to be able to produce a robot that could explore our huge mysterious ocean and find what hidden secrets and creatures could be found.
