For the past 3 terms 7Ld has been doing Kiwi Can with Olivia and Ross. This week we were doing the value Reliability. We did a warm up activity called Black magic. Black magic is a game where one person goes outside and a random object around the room is chosen, one person then asks about random things in the room and they have to say whether they think it is the chosen object or not. We learnt the trick on how to know if it is the chosen object. It is the chosen object if the object said before it is black.
Then we started to design a mural to go on a wall separating our school from the construction site. We would like to have it include bright colours, fun patterns and interesting designs. In groups of 4 we started planning ideas of some of the things we would want on the mural. 4 people from each year 7 class will be asked to help and they will combine all the ideas onto the mural and paint it.
This was our last week doing Kiwi Can and the classes scores were totalled and our class had the highest total of 171.25. Since we won we got to chose an award we could either do a quiz, games or a movie and popcorn. We did a blind vote and we voted for movies. Throughout the week our class has picked a movie the movie we chose was Lemony Snicketts Series Of Unfortunate Events.
Kiwi Can has been really fun this term and we have learnt some very important values and we are very thank for Olivia and Ross for having us.
