This week for English we have been learning about Critical Literacy and the CRAP test. Critical Literacy is identifying the purpose and reliability of the text. The CRAP test is a skill used to find the purpose of the text. We watched several videos and had to identify the subtext or hidden message within the two videos. We learnt that both the videos were fake and a lot of other news is fake. To end the period we then played a new game Factitious where the aim of the game was to identify if a range of articles were reliable or fake.
Our task for today was to create a DLO displaying what we have learnt about Critical Literacy.
