This week for reading my group is reading Paperboy. We have had several tasks including a Padlet with our first thoughts/impressions on the book and researching and writing a short description about Stuttering which one of the main characters struggle with.
FRONT COVER:
On the cover there is a boy standing looking upset or sad on the path of a neighbourhood house
BACK COVER:
The boy takes over his friends job of doing the paper run for the month, He has a stutter which makes him feel uncomfortable speaking to people around the neighbour hood especially a bully
I am excited to do a novel because I like doing corresponding activities to my reading. I used to do novel studies in Primary school which helped me like reading more.
