Plaster Hands - Science

Today for science we made plaster moulds of our hands. We did this for our study about  forensics which we have been doing this past term. We used sand, hairspray, plaster and water. First we tightly packed the sand in a plastic container, Then we firmly pressed our hand prints in to make a deep hand print. Then we sprayed it with hairspray to seal the sand, Then we mixed the plaster and water and poured it into our hand prints. We let them sit on the window sill to dry.
