For Inquiry this year our focus is materials. We learnt the difference between materials and tools. We found the main sources of materials which are man made, raw, changed, recycled, combined and metal materials. Through out the year our learning will end up with each of us making a project out of materials. There were 4 groups we could choose from which were inspire, entertain, help and gift. I chose gift because I love to give things to people because it can make people feel happy and special and I love that. I decided to make an owl dreamcatcher. Since my mum is a sewer I learnt to sew at a young age so at first I thought to sew something, but then I thought I wanted to step out of my comfort zone. I have never made a dreamcatcher so the results should be interesting.
