Making Scones In Home Economics!
This term in home economics we have learnt how to make basic scone dough and we have made 3 recipes and variations using the dough. So far we have made basic scones, cheese scones and pizza rolls using the dough. While making this recipe we have learnt how to correctly mix fat, knead and sift dry ingredients. We added tomato paste, bacon, cheese and pineapple to the dough rolled thin to make pizza rolls. We added cheese to the dough to make cheese scones. It was fun learning to make these and creating different variations.
