This week for reading we read a story called The Fight. Our task was to write an alternative ending to the story, of what we thought would happen after the story ended.
Here is my ending
The two dreaded going to school knowing there punishment awaited them. Robbie felt ashamed that he was teasing Calvin about his mum and Calvin felt embarrassed that people knew about his mum drinking. They sat outside Mrs Langi’s office in silence, Robbie was called in first he closed the door behind him. Surprisingly there was no yelling it seemed calm. Robbie walked out with his head hanging low and a few tears running down his face. Calvin sat down wearily, Robbie said he was very sorry but since they fought they would both have punishments, 3 lunchtime referrals. Robbie came in and they both apologised, the agreement was they both wouldn’t fight and Calvin wouldn’t use anything about his mum against him.
