On Friday, Hornby High hosted another weekly Winter sport tournament. The HHS winter sport tournament is where schools around the Hornby cluster bus to our school to play the sports, Netball, Football, Hockey and League. I couldn't play this week as I have broken my toe. Instead of doing sports I took photos with Ipads provided by the teacher. First my team the wizards, went over to the Hornby Primary school field to train. First they did some basic stretches such as lunges, squats, high knees and grapevine. Then we played 4 corners to practise passing to each other. After playing a few rounds of half court we headed to the main netball courts to play. We versed the Pulse team on court 6, At half time we had some chewy sour lollies and did some cheers. We won the game by 4 points.

ReplyDeleteI really like your blog post about friday sport and the tournaments. I like how you added photos of the games. It must've been fun eating the lollies. How long were your games with the other teams you played against?
